Baldur Helgason is an Icelandic visual artist who lives and works in Chicago. He graduated from Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2008 and from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2011. He was awarded SF Weekly’s Mastermind grant in 2011 and his work has been featured in Society of Illustrators and Communication Arts Annuals. Baldur held his first solo show, Bald by Baldur, at Port Gallery in Reykjavík, Iceland in 2016.
